On December 30th, 2020, Newport Property Group, LLC, a fully owned subsidiary of Rubicon Investments, completed the acquisition of the Avery Building in Newport, Oregon. Included in the purchase are two buildings totaling 20,740 square feet, currently leased to the Department of Human Services (DHS) regional office, Oregon Employment Department, Community Services Consortium, and C.H.A.N.C.E.

This purchase represents the third actively running DHS facility that Rubicon owns. The company also has in the pipeline two new construction developments for DHS regional offices in Klamath Falls and Gresham.
